Classic Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies
Makes about 4 to 4 1/2 dozen cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 F
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Beat together butter and peanut butter until creamy. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. In a separate bowl mix together dry ingredients. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Place balls of dough on a greased or lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not over bake!
